Alma has a B.A. from Mexico’s Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM), where she majored in International Relations. She previously worked in Mexico’s federal government and Mexico City’s local government, where she worked at the intersection of data, technology, and policy. She also worked as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), where she managed economic development research projects. She is interested in how to implement technology and data-based projects in multi-stakeholder scenarios.
