The financial lives of today’s young adults (18 to 36 years old) have been shaped by one economic crisis after another. Young adults of color, particularly those who are Black and Latinx, have borne a disproportionate share of these economic hardships. Decades of systemic racism have left Black and Latinx communities more vulnerable to the effects of these crises.
