Rose Serwah Afriyei

Rose Afriyie has served as a public interest technologist for more than a decade after starting her career at Google and co-founding the social impact organization, mRelief, which helped more than 4.4 million people access food assistance, unlocking over $1.7 billion in food stamp benefits. This Spring she was tapped by Microsoft to co-lead the development of a framework to help nonprofits with drafting AI policies and to navigate what to consider as they decide how and when to adopt AI. She is now building upon this work to support nonprofits like GenForward with development as well as their AI research.
